With more than 20 years' experience in the Western Australian public sector, she has extensive expertise in resource tenure, regulatory governance, and policy development across the resources sector. 

Her career has spanned senior tenure and leadership roles, with deep experience in the administration of the Mining Act and State Agreement legislation, native title processes, and stakeholder engagement across government and industry. Drawing on her environmental science background, Sharon is focused on advancing effective mine closure, rehabilitation, and long-term land stewardship outcomes.
