With more than 25 years’ experience in commercial and corporate development, operations, strategy and stakeholder engagement, Sasha Pendal is Deputy Director General at the Western Australian Department of Water and Environmental Regulation. Previously, she was an executive with the Fortescue Group, and the Chief Executive Officer at Early Start Australia. She has also held senior Executive roles at Woodside Energy, Synergy and health  fund HBF.
 
Sasha holds a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree from the University of Western Australia. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has ten years experience in non-executive roles, including as Fremantle Football Club Director and Lifeline WA Chair. Sasha is Chair of the inaugural AFL Women’s Committee at Fremantle Football Club focused on accelerating the professionalisation of the  women’s game.
