Jarrad is a Senior Principal Engineer at Red Earth Engineering, specializing in tailings risk assessment and management.

 

Over a long career leading the tailings management program at Rio Tinto Iron Ore, he placed the company in a strong position to achieve near-complete GISTM conformance. In his current role he most often leads audits, risk assessments often culminating in ALARP evaluation and undertakes reviews.

 

Jarrad is a current member of teams authoring updates to multiple ANCOLD guides and ICOLD Bulletins relating to dam safety and tailing management.
