Darren's 35 years of experience in mine closure and rehabilitation includes leading many large multidisciplinary mine closure studies and influencing mine closure practice through his roles as a consultant, project leader for the ISO mine closure vocabulary standard, and founding Chairperson of the Closure Planning Practitioners Association.

 

Darren will moderate designated discussions focused particularly on the practical application of closure planning, legislative and regulatory pathways, agency interfaces, approvals and industry implementation.
