Waldo Dressel is a Senior Principal at Red Earth Engineering, with over 35 years of experience in mine waste engineering.

He has extensive experience in tailings governance and various studies, overseeing the design, analysis, permitting, and construction of tailings storage facilities, and has provided technical reviews in Australia and the United States.
He is the Engineer of Record for tailings storage facilities in Western Australia.

He has been part of technical evaluations, particularly in advancing filtered tailings and dry-stacking approaches, through active participation in technical working groups and industry forums.
