Pamela Soto

MMG Limited 

Pamela Soto possesses extensive experience in tailings and water management, currently serving as Manager Tailings & Water Australia at MMG Limited since October 2019, with prior roles including Acting Head and Principal Tailings and Water Dams Engineer.

 

Previously, Pamela worked as a Project Engineer at Golder Associates and held various engineering positions with BHP, SLR Consulting, Coffey Geotechnics Limited, Barrick Gold Corporation, Knight Piesold, and Placer Dome.

 

Expertise encompasses project management, design and analysis of tailings storage facilities, water management strategies, environmental standards revision, and community engagement.

 

Pamela holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from UNSW and has pursued a Master's degree in International Environmental Law at the University of Sydney.
